Sarteano is a town in the Val d’Orcia, on the border with the Val di Chiana , in the province of Siena . From the relevant historical and natural importance it has a medieval past , easily recognizable from the castle , element that stands out in the landscape , and the large number of religious structures . The economy is mainly based on agriculture and the production of oil, wine and wheat .
